Discover the CFabrication Difference Today

We strive to provide the best service and quality in the industry by combining knowledge and experience. It is our goal to be the most respected fabricator servicing fence contractors, architects and general contractors.

Choose from one of our service areas below and learn more about how we turn your visions into reality:

cad drawings

Our CAD operators assist our customers by providing detailed, scaled drawings of the products required on a project by project basis. These drawings can then be submitted by our customer as a “shop drawing” during their submittal process saving them time and money. This process helps ensure all parties involved understand the look and function of the proposed fences and gates.

Our team will also take a CAD file provided by our customer or an architect and incorporate the design into the finished product truly taking it from concept to reality. We pride ourselves on being a true full service fence fabricator.

iron fences & gates

Our full steel fabrication department continues to provide the highest quality products available in the fencing industry. We offer all dimensions, weights and shapes of either hot-rolled or cold-rolled steel including square tubing, round tubing, solid bar, angle, plate, expanded metal, perforated metal, metal bar grating, and pipe including up to schedule 80. All of our welding is supported by top of the line Miller Welding Equipment, to ensure proper penetration on every pass.

We build a variety of steel fencing and gates including freeway overpass railings, iron fence panels with pressed spear pickets, rolling gates with rectangle tube steel frames, double swing gates with heavy duty barrel hinges, pedestrian gates that incorporate kick plates and panic hardware, trash enclosure gates, cantilever gates and bar grating infill panels.

Depending on the desired look and end application of the product, raw steel, powder coating or HDG is available to our customers. Our powder coating process includes sand blasting which etches the bare metal to ensure better mechanical adhesion. Hot-Dip Galvanizing (HDG) is the process of dipping fabricated steel into a kettle or vat containing molten zinc providing superior corrosion protection.

custom aluminum

Aluminum fence and gate fabrication is a specialized service that we are proud to offer. Aluminum combines low weight, high strength and superior malleability with excellent corrosion resistance. Aluminum continues to be the choice of architects and builders around the country especially on projects near coastlines and where harsh weather conditions exist. Our fabrication process commonly utilizes 6061 and 6063 aluminum alloy which has good mechanical properties and exhibits good weldability.

All of the product lines we offer are available in a mill finish or can be powder coated following a standard RAL color chart. The most common uses for aluminum are large cantilever gates, balcony railings, handrails, guardrails and louvered panels and fencing. CFabrication also utilizes AUTO CAD and Delta CAD to allow custom aluminum outlines and designs to be created either by laser cutting or a water jet system.

STAINLESS STEEL & MISC METALS

Stainless steel does not readily corrode, stain or rust with water as ordinary steel does. When the chromium in the steel combines with the oxygen in the atmosphere, it creates a thin layer of chrome-containing oxide. Even in the event when this passive film is scratched or cut, more oxide will form to recover the exposed area protecting it from corrosion. Stainless steel can also be easily formed into different shapes and bends making it a perfect choice for handrails and guardrails in high traffic areas.

We have also incorporated brass and copper alloys into our products using our controlled GTAW process which allows for greater control over the weld over other welding process such as arc welding, allowing for stronger, higher quality welds. Our misc. metal product lines include handrails, guardrails, louvered panels, lockable bollards, backstop and netting support poles, stainless steel cable railings and decorative appurtenances found on buildings and in parks.

caltrans & guardrails

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) maintains very stringent specifications and guidelines for the type of railing ad guardrails they require. CFabrication is a full line fabricator of B11-51, ST-10, and 606-3 (A,B,C) Cal Trans specified products. We work with our customers to make sure all components fit correctly and are manufactured in the allotted time frame.

As a City of Los Angeles Certified Type I Fabricator, we maintain the highest standards and open our shop to material certifications and welding inspectors when required. We provide mill certificates and tag all of our raw material for each specific job. On a per job basis, one of our lead fabricators will make themselves available to meet onsite and confirm measurements including radiuses and angles.
